Mustang Junior

Wow! The mini T-Bird from a few posts back was cool, but I'm pretty sure it was battery powered. The Mustang Junior above is a Gas Powered car. Not sure if this would meet today's stringent safety requirements or not. Looks like a crapload of fun though, huh? It's even got a nice growl to it.

This looks like a scene out of an old magazine ad. Nice scenery, nice kids, and a damn nice kiddie car! This model was also made by the Powercar company of Mystic Connecticut, the company that manufactured the Thunderbird Juniors. The Mustang Junior sold for around $500.00, which was not cheap back on the 1960's (or now for that matter), but it was obviously worth the price because it was an excellent chick magnet, as evidenced in the above photo.
